The Eastern Conference of the National Basketball Association (NBA) is one of two conferences that makes up the league, the other being the Western Conference Like the Western Conference the Eastern Conference is made up of 15 teams, organized in three divisions.

The season begins in late October and ends in April. Each team plays 82 games with 41 games being home games and 41 away games.

The Pacific Division is one of the three divisions in the Western Conference of the National Basketball Association (NBA). The division comprises ten teams eight of which are in California (with the other two being in Oregon and Oklahoma).

Atlantic Division

The Atlantic Division is a division of the Eastern Conference in the National Basketball Association (NBA). The Atlantic division consists of five teams located in the Northeastern United States the Boston Celtics Brooklyn Nets New York Knicks Philadelphia 76ers, and Toronto Raptors

Formerly the Central Division (19702004) and Southeast Division (20042020), the Midwest Division was formed at the start of the 197071 NBA season when the league expanded from 14 to 17 teams with the addition of the Buffalo Braves, Cleveland Cavaliers and Portland Trail Blazers The division was renamed as part of a conference realignment that took effect at the start of the 200405 season, which resulted in each conference having three divisions of five teams each.
