Introduction

The 2018 Oklahoma State Basketball Roster is here, and it’s loaded with talent! Head Coach Mike Boynton has assembled a strong mix of returning veterans and promising newcomers that should make the Cowboys a force to be reckoned with in the Big 12 this season.

Leading the way for Oklahoma State will be senior guard Jeffrey Carroll, who averaged 16.6 points and 6.0 rebounds per game last season. Carroll will be joined in the backcourt by fellow seniors Tavarius Shine and Lindy Waters III, who both have plenty of experience playing at a high level.

Up front, the Cowboys will be led by junior forward Yor Anei, who showed flashes of greatness as a sophomore last year. Anei will be joined in the frontcourt by junior college transfer Curtis Jones Jr., who should provide some immediate help in the rebounding department.

The Season

It’s finally here! The 2018 Oklahoma State Basketball Roster is now available. This season, the team features 12 players from all around the country, ranging in experience from freshman to seniors. The roster breakdown is as follows:

-2 power forwards
-1 center

Out of the 12 players, 6 are upperclassmen and therefore have significant collegiate experience. This includes Dru Smith, who led the team in assists last season with an average of 4.5 per game. Other notable returnees are Jeffrey Carroll and Mitchell Solomon, who were both crucial parts in the team’s run to the NCAA Tournament last year.
