The 2021 All-NBA Teams Have Been Announced

The 2021 All-NBA teams have been announced, and there are some familiar faces on the list. Lebron James Kevin Durant and Kawhi Leonard are all first-teamers, while Giannis Antetokounmpo and Stephen Curry headline the second team.

All-NBA First Team

The All-NBA First Team for the 2020-2021 Season has been announced, and it includes some of the league’s biggest stars. Lebron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo were both unanimous selections, while Joel Embiid Nikola Jokic and Kawhi Leonard rounded out the first team.

All-NBA Second Team

The All-NBA Second Team for the 2020-21 season has been announced, and it includes some of the league’s brightest stars.

Headlining the group is Houston Rockets guard James Harden who earns his ninth All-NBA selection overall and his second consecutive Second Team honor. He is joined by fellow guards Damian Lillard of the Portland Trail Blazers and Chris Paul of the Phoenix Suns as well as forwards Khris Middleton of the Milwaukee Bucks and Julius Randle of the New York Knicks

Rounding out the Second Team are Los Angeles Clippers center DeAndre Jordan and Toronto Raptors swingman Kawhi Leonard

This marks the first time in his career that Jordan has been named to an All-NBA team while Leonard earns his fourth All-NBA selection overall and his first since 2016.

All-NBA Third Team

The All-NBA Teams for the 2020-2021 season were announced today, with some familiar names and a few surprises.

Leading the way on the All-NBA First Team are Lebron James of the Los Angeles Lakers and Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets who both received unanimous selections. They’re joined by Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry Chicago Bulls forward/center Zach LaVine and Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard

On the All-NBA Second Team are Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo Brooklyn Nets guard Kyrie Irving Phoenix Suns guard Chris Paul Los Angeles Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard and Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert

Finally, on the All-NBA Third Team are Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Doncic Brooklyn Nets guard James Harden Denver Nuggets forward Michael Porter Jr., and Minnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns

All-NBA Rookie First Team

The All-NBA Rookie First Team for the 2020-2021 season has been announced, and it includes some of the brightest young stars in the league. Leading the way is Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard who was a unanimous choice for the first team. He is joined by Cleveland Cavaliers guard Dion Waiters, Houston Rockets forward Chandler Parsons Charlotte Bobcats forward Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, and Detroit Pistons center Andre Drummond

All-NBA Rookie Second Team

The All-NBA rookie Second Team for the 2020-21 season has been announced, and it features some of the league’s most promising young stars.

Headlining the group is Charlotte Hornets guard Lamelo Ball who averaged 15.7 points, 5.9 assists and 6.0 rebounds per game while shooting 41.2 percent from three-point range during his rookie campaign. Ball was the third overall pick in the 2020 NBA draft and quickly established himself as one of the league’s most exciting players with his highlight-reel passes and long-range shooting.

Joining Ball on the All-Rookie Second Team are Atlanta Hawks guard Tyrese Haliburton Chicago Bulls center Patrick Williams, Detroit Pistons forward Saddiq Bey and Toronto Raptors forward Malcolm Brogdon. Haliburton was a late first-round pick who averaged 12.1 points and 5.2 assists per game while shooting 42.6 percent from three-point range, Williams was a top-10 pick who averaged 10.0 points and 5.4 rebounds per game Bey was a late first-round pick who averaged 11.9 points and 5 in 31 games as a starter and Brogdon was acquired by the Raptors in a trade with the Indiana Pacers during the season and he averaged 11 points to go along with 4 assists per game off Toronto’s bench.

All-NBA Defensive First Team

The 2021 All-NBA Defensive First Team features some of the league’s best defenders. The team is anchored by two-time Defensive Player of the Year Rudy Gobert of the Utah Jazz Gobert is joined by fellow big man Joel Embiid of the Philadelphia 76ers.

The backcourt is made up of All-Star guards Ben Simmons of the 76ers and defensive stalwart Marcus Smart of the Boston Celtics Simmons and Smart are both excellent defenders, with the ability to guard multiple positions.

Rounding out the team is small forward Kawhi Leonard of the Los Angeles Clippers Leonard is a two-time Defensive Player of the Year, and is widely considered to be one of the best defenders in the NBA.

All-NBA Defensive Second Team

The All-NBA teams are selected by a global panel of 100 sportswriters and broadcasters. They select two guards, two forwards, and one center for each team. The defensive player of the Year Award winner is also automatically selected to the All-NBA Defense First Team.

The All-Time All-NBA teams were announced on Wednesday, with Lebron James Michael Jordan Kobe Bryant and Tim Duncan leading the way as the four players selected to the first team.

Joining them on the first team are Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Magic Johnson Larry Bird and Bill Russell

The second team consists of Wilt Chamberlain Oscar Robertson Jerry West Jerry Lucas, and Elgin Baylor.

Rounding out the teams are Dwyane Wade and Shaquille O’Neal (third team), Karl Malone and Scottie Pippen (fourth team), and Dirk Nowitzki and David Robinson (fifth team).
