The 2019 NBA All-Star game is just around the corner, and the list of players who will be taking part in the event has finally been revealed. Here are the 18 men who will be suiting up for the All-Star Game this year.
Kyrie Irving and Kemba Walker
Kyrie Irving and Kemba Walker were both named to the 2018-19 NBA All-Star team. Irving will be making his sixth straight All-Star appearance, while Walker will be making his second appearance.
Joel Embiid
Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid was one of the 18-19 NBA All-Stars. This marks Embiid’s first All-Star appearance.
Paul George
Paul George is an American professional basketball player for the Indiana Pacers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He is a four-Ime Nba All-Star and has been named three times to the All-NBA team George was born in Los Angeles California, and played High School basketball for Knight high school in Palmdale, California. George was drafted by the Indiana Pacers with the 10th overall pick in the 2010 NBA draft
Russell Westbrook
Russell Westbrook of the Oklahoma City Thunder was one of the 18-19 NBA All-Stars. He was drafted fourth overall by the Thunder in the 2008 NBA Draft Westbrook is a nine-time All-Star, and he won the NBA All-Star Game MVP Award in 2015. He was also named the NBA Most Valuable Player in 2017.
Nikola Jokic
Nikola Jokic is one of the 18-19 NBA All-Stars. He is a center for the Denver Nuggets He was born in Yugoslavia and is 7 feet tall. He is known for his great shooting ability and rebounding.
Damian Lillard
Dame wasn’t just an All-Star starter he was the leading vote-getter in the entire Western Conference That’s a huge deal for a player who wasn’t even drafted in the lottery. Lillard is one of the league’s most explosive scorers and playmakers, and he has carried the Blazers to contender status despite a slew of injuries to Key Players
Jimmy Butler
Jimmy Butler is an American professional basketball player for the Miami Heat of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for Tyler Junior College and Marquette University and was drafted with the 30th overall pick in the 2011 NBA Draft by the Chicago Bulls Butler emerged as a star with the Bulls, being named an NBA All-Star in 2015 and 2016, before being traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2017. In his first season with Minnesota, he was named an All-Star again.
Kawhi Leonard
Kawhi Leonard small forward for the Toronto Raptors was one of the 18-19 NBA All-Stars. He was born on June 29, 1991, in Los Angeles California. Leonard played college basketball at San Diego State University before being drafted by the Indiana Pacers in the 2011 NBA draft He was then traded to the Spurs on draft night. In his seven seasons with the Spurs, Leonard won an NBA Championship in 2014 and was named the Finals MVP He was also named an All-Star in 2015 and 2016. In 2017, he was named the Defensive Player of the Year. After missing most of the 2017-18 Season due to injury, Leonard was traded to the Raptors before the 18-19 season In his first season with the Raptors, he helped lead them to their first ever NBA Finals appearance where they defeated the Golden State Warriors in six games. Leonard was once again named Finals MVP
LeBron James
Lebron James of the Los Angeles Lakers is a three-time NBA Champion and four-time MVP. He has been selected to the All-Star team thirteen times, including twelve consecutive appearances from 2005 to 2016.

As the 2018-19 all-star break approaches, let’s take a look at the starters and reserves for this year’s game.
The starters were announced on Thursday, January 24th. The Eastern Conference starters are Giannis Antetokounmpo (Milwaukee Bucks), Kyrie Irving (Boston Celtics), Joel Embiid (Philadelphia 76ers), Kawhi Leonard (Toronto Raptors), and Ben Simmons (Philadelphia 76ers). The Western Conference starters are Lebron James (Los Angeles Lakers), Stephen Curry (Golden State Warriors), Paul George (Oklahoma City Thunder), Russell Westbrook (Oklahoma City Thunder), and Kevin Durant (Golden State Warriors).
The reserves will be announced on January 31st, but the NBA released the pool of players from which the coaches will choose. The Eastern Conference pool of players includes Bradley Beal (Washington Wizards), Jimmy Butler (Philadelphia 76ers), Kevin Love (Cleveland Cavaliers), Kyle Lowry (Toronto Raptors), Khris Middleton Milwaukee Bucks), and Victor Oladipo Indiana Pacers). The Western Conference pool of players includes LaMarcus Aldridge San Antonio Spurs, Anthony Davis New Orleans Pelicans Nikola Jokic Denver Nuggets Damian Lillard Portland Blazers Klay Thompson Golden State Warriors Karl-Anthony Towns Minnesota Timberwolves).
