The Emory men’s basketball team will open its 2019-20 campaign on Friday, November 8th, when they host Piedmont College at 7:00 PM in the inaugural game of the DIII Tip-Off Classic. The Eagles will then take on LaGrange College on Saturday, November 9th at 5:00 PM.
Emory will mix in a pair of Home Games against Birmingham Southern (November 12th) and Covenant (November 16th) before embarking on a three-game road swing that starts with back-to-back contests at Berry (November 19th) and Oglethorpe (November 20th). The Eagles will then complete their pre-Thanksgiving schedule with a trip to Rome, Georgia to face perennial powerhouse West Georgia on Tuesday, November 26th.
After Thanksgiving, Emory will return home for four straight games, starting with a visit from Covenant on December 3rd. Emory opens the second semester of the season with a three-game road swing through Texas, beginning with a contest against Dallas on January 24th. The trip continues with games against Trinity (January 25th) and Austin College (January 28th) before the Eagles return home to take on Sewanee on February 1st.
A stretch of five out of six games at home begins February 5th when Emory hosts Birmingham Southern. After playing Millsaps in Jackson, Mississippi on February 8th, the Eagles return home for key UAA matchups against Washington University (February 12th), Rochester (February 15h), and Brandeis (February 19h). A quick trip to Chicago to play Case Western Reserve awaits Emory on February 22nd before they close out their regular season schedule with three straight games at home against Carnegie Mellon (February 26th), Case Western Reserve (February 29h), and New York University(March 3rd).
