The 64-team Caa Baseball tournament field is set

The 64-team NCAA Baseball tournament field is set, and it’s time to start filling out those brackets.

The top eight seeds are No. 1 UCLA, No. 2 Florida, No. 3 Stanford, No. 4 Louisville, No. 5 Vanderbilt, No. 6 TCU, No. 7 Texas Tech and No. 8 Miami (Fla.).

UCLA is the overall No. 1 seed for the tournament and will host one of the 16 four-team regionals that get underway on Friday. The Bruins are joined in their regional by UC Santa Barbara Maryland and Ole Miss

The top two seeds in each regional will square off against each other on Friday, with the winners advancing to play each other on Saturday. The loser of the opening game will face elimination on Saturday morning against an opponent that advanced through Thursday’s play-in game.

The double-elimination regionals will be held at campus sites around the country from Friday through Monday, with the winners advancing to one of eight best-of-three Super Regionals next week.

The eight Super Regional winners will punch their ticket to the College World Series in Omaha, which gets underway on June 16th at TD Ameritrade Park.
