The game
The Game of Baseball is a game of strategy played by two teams on a large field. The objective of the game is to score more runs than the other team by hitting a small, round object (a ball) with a long, narrow object (a bat). The game is divided into innings, and each team has a chance to hit and run around the bases in each inning. The team that scores the most runs in nine innings (or less, if one team is ahead by a large margin) wins the game.
