1. Marvin Bagley III – A 6’11” Power Forward from Sierra Canyon high school in California, Bagley is the No. 1 recruit in the nation. He is a versatile player who can score inside and out and is an excellent rebounder. He has verbally committed to Duke University
2. Michael Porter Jr. – A 6’10” small forward from Nathan Hale high school in Seattle, Washington, Porter is the No. 2 recruit in the nation. He is an excellent shooter with range beyond the three-point line and is also a very good rebounder and passer. He has verbally committed to the University of Missouri
3. Mohamed Bamba – A 7’0” center from Westtown School in West Chester Pennsylvania, Bamba is the No 4 recruit in the nation. He is a very athletic big man who runs the floor well and finishes well around the basket. He has verbally committed to the University of Texas.
4 . Trae Young – A 6’2” point guard from Norman North high school in Norman, Oklahoma, Young is the No 5 recruit in the nation. He is an excellent shooter with deep range and is also a gifted playmaker for his teammates. He has verbally committed to Oklahoma University.

players to take an extra year of eligibility, so many of them have decided to wait until next year to declare for the NBA draft This has left college basketball teams with a lot of scholarship money to spend on recruiting this year.
