This season has been a disappointment for the BGSU men’s Basketball team They have lost more games than they have won, and their conference record is not good. However, there are some bright spots. The Bowling Green men’s Basketball Team is currently 14-14 overall and 6-9 in conference play. The Falcons are coming off a loss to Northern Illinois in their last game and are currently on a three game losing streak Despite their recent struggles, the Falcons are still in contention for a spot in the postseason. The Falcons are currently in 10th place in the Conference Standings but they are only two games out of seventh place. The top seven teams in the conference will qualify for the conference tournament
The Falcons have five regular season games remaining on their schedule. They will play three of those games at home and two on the road. The Falcons will play their final Home game of the season against Central Michigan on March 3rd. They will then close out the Regular Season with road games against Eastern Michigan (March 7th) and Western Michigan (March 10th).
The Falcons have struggled on the road this season, but they have fared better at home. If the Falcons can win their remaining home games and split their road games, they should be in good position to qualify for the conference tournament
