Coppin State Basketball
The Coppin State Eagles men’s basketball team represents Coppin State University in Baltimore, Maryland, United States The school’s team currently competes in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference
The Eagles have appeared in the NCAA Division I Tournament eight times. Their combined record is 3–8. They were MEAC regular season champions in 1992 and 1994.
Coppin State has made one appearance in the National Invitation Tournament Their combined record is 0–1.
Men’s Basketball
The Coppin State Men’s Basketball team has announced their schedule for the 2019-2020 Season The team will have their first game on November 5th, 2019 against UMBC. For a full list of their games, please visit:

Women’s Basketball
The Coppin State University women’s basketball team has announced their schedule for the upcoming season The Eagles will play 29 games, including 11 non-conference matchups and 18 contests in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference
Coppin State will open their season on the road against Lafayette on November 6th, before returning home to the Eagle’s Nest to take on Cheyney four days later. The Eagles will then embark on a five game road trip playing games at Loyola (MD), Navy, UMBC, Delaware State, and Morgan State conference play will begin on December 27th when Coppin State hosts Norfolk State
Other home games include: Howard (12/30), Florida A&M (1/17), Maryland Eastern Shore (1/24), South Carolina State (2/7), and North Carolina Central (2/28).
The Eagles will conclude their regular season schedule on the road at Bethune-Cookman on March 3rd. The MEAC tournament will take place from March 10-14 in Norfolk, Virginia.
Youth Basketball
The Coppin State University men’s Basketball team has released their schedule for the upcoming season The team will be playing a number of games against teams from around the country in an effort to improve their skills and prepare for the NCAA tournament Some of the notable games on the schedule include a matchup with the defending champion Duke Blue Devils as well as games against traditional basketball powers such as UCLA, Kentucky, and Indiana.
High School Basketball
Coppin State has announced their Basketball Schedule for the upcoming season The team will open up their campaign on the road against Mount St. Mary’s on November 6th. They will then have a string of home games beginning with Penn on November 10th. Other notable home games include Morgan State (November 27th), Howard (December 1st), and Norfolk State (February 9th). The team will close out their season on the road against Delaware State on March 3rd.
College Basketball
The 2019-20 Coppin State Basketball Schedule has been released, the school announced on Wednesday. The Eagles will open the season against Loyola (Md.) on November 5 at the physical education Complex.
Coppin State’s home opener will be against Maryland Eastern Shore on November 9. The Eagles will also host Morgan State Florida A&M, Howard, and Norfolk State in non-conference action at the PEC.
Professional Basketball
The Basketball Program at Coppin State University has released their schedule for the upcoming season The team will compete in 34 Regular Season games, including 27 conference match-ups.
Head coach Juan Dixon will enter his sixth season at the helm of the Eagles. The team is coming off a 12-19 (6-10 MEAC) campaign from a year ago.
The non-conference portion of the schedule features games against American, Loyola (MD), Navy, UMBC, and Towson.
