What made you want to become a head coach?
I’ve always had a passion for coaching and teaching the Game of Baseball I enjoy working with young men and helping them develop as players and people. I’m very excited to be given this opportunity at ECU and look forward to getting started.

What are your goals for the team?
My goal is to build a program that our student-athletes, alumni, fans, and community can be proud of. We want to field a competitive team each year that has a chance to win our conference championship and make noise in the NCAA tournament

What do you think makes Ecu Baseball unique?
ECU has a rich tradition in baseball, dating back to its days as a member of the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA). The program has produced several Major League Baseball (MLB) players, including Jeff Zimmerman, Mark Reynolds, Andrew Miller, Brad Lincoln, Shane Greene, Seth Maness, and Domonic Brown. The Pirates also won conference championships in 2001 and 2002 before joining the American Athletic Conference (AAC) in 2014.
