What to expect this season

The East high school Varsity Basketball schedule has been released, and we couldn’t be more excited for what’s in store this season! Here’s a quick look at what to expect:

The team will open the season with a Home game against West on December 3rd. This will be followed by games against Central (away), South (away), and North (home). The month of December will close out with games against East’s two biggest rivals, West (away) and Central (home).

January will be a busy month for the team, with games against South (home), North (away), West (home), Central (away), and conference opponents Roosevelt (away) and Lincoln (home). February will see the team take on Roosevelt (home), Lincoln (away), as well as conference foes Kennedy (home) and Washington (away). The season will wrap up with games against Washington (home) and Kennedy (away).

We can’t wait to see what our boys in blue will do this season! Go East!

East history

The East basketball team has a long and storied history. The team was founded in 1891 and has won 10 National Championships The team is currently ranked #1 in the nation and is looking to make a run at the championship this year. Check out the schedule below to see when the team is playing near you.

Rivalries

The East Basketball Schedule is here, and there are some great rivalries on tap! The Cavs and the Warriors are set to face off four times this season, with the first matchup coming on Christmas Day This year’s schedule also features a number of other great rivalries, including the New York Knicks vs. the Brooklyn Nets the Los Angeles Lakers vs. the Los Angeles Clippers and the Miami Heat vs. the Orlando Magic There are sure to be some great games this season, so be sure to check out the schedule and mark your calendars!

Player profiles

The East high school Basketball team is back in action and this season is looking better than ever! Get to know your favorite players with our player profiles.

Senior shooting guard Jordan Thomas is the team’s top scorer and has been starting since his sophomore year. His father, also named Jordan, played for East High in the late 80s.

Power Forward Kevin Johnson is a transfer from West High School He’s 6’8” and one of the tallest players on the team. He’s also one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet, always willing to help out his teammates.

shooting guard Alex Kim is a junior and one of the newer members of the team. He’s originally from Seoul, South Korea and only moved to Utah a few years ago. Alex is an incredible student and hopes to go to medical school after he graduates.
