The GLVC baseball standings are used to determine which teams will compete in the conference tournament at the end of the regular season The conference tournament is a double-elimination tournament, meaning that a team must lose two games in order to be eliminated. Southeastern Missouri State University is currently third in the conference with an 8-4 record and 2-2 mark in league play. The Redhawks started off slow but have picked up their play as of late, winning six of their last seven games. SEMO will need to keep winning if they want to stay near the top of the standings because there are a lot of teams close behind them.

The fourth and final spot in the postseason is wide open at this point in time with seven teams within two games of each other near .500 overall on the season. Lewis University (7-6, 1-3), Maryville University (8-8, 2-4), Quincy University (6--,2--), Bellarmine University (7--3, 1--3), Northern Kentucky University (8--7, 0--4), Indianapolis (7--7, 2--2), and McKendree University (6--8, 1--3) are all within striking distance of each other and could make a push for that final playoff berth over the next few weeks.
