The Hofstra basketball team has released their schedule for the upcoming season The team will be playing a total of 30 games, 15 of which will be at home in the Mack Sports Complex The first game of the season will be against Central Connecticut State on November 5th.

The Hofstra Pride men’s Basketball team has announced its schedule for the upcoming season The team is coming off a successful campaign in which they won the Colonial Athletic Association regular season title and made it to the NCAA tournament for the first time since 2001.
The Pride will open their season at home against Stony Brook on November 6th. They will then have a road game against Florida Atlantic before returning home to take on Wagner. Other notable games on the schedule include a Home game against conference rival Northeastern, a road game at [reigning NCAA champions] Villanova, and a home game against last year’s conference tournament champions, Towson.
The Pride’s schedule features eight games against teams that made the NCAA Tournament last season, including four games against teams that made it to the Sweet Sixteen The team will look to build on their success from last season and make a deep run in the NCAA tournament this year.

They will then close out 2017 with a game at home against James Madison on December 30th.
Hofstra will start off 2018 by traveling to take on Towson on January 4th before returning home to face Northeastern on January 8th. They will then have another road game, as they travel to take on Drexel On January 11th, before returning home for three straight games. The team will first host Delaware On January 18th, followed by William & Mary On January 25rh, and then Charleston On February 1st.
The Pride will then have a three-game road swing, as they travel to take Richmond On February 8th, Mason On February 15rh, and then Towson again On February 22nd. Hofstra will return home for their final four games of the season, starting with Drexel On March 1st, followed by Hofstra hosting senior night against James MadisonOn March 5th. They will then close out their regular season schedule with two tough games, as they host Northeastern ON March 8st before traveling to take one last regular season game at William & Mary ON March 12nd.
If Hofasca can navigate their way through their conference schedule, they should be in position to make a run at the conference title and maybe even earn a spot in the NCAA tournament
