James River high school is a public high school in Charlotte, Virginia. The school is part of the Chesterfield County Public Schools system. James River high school basketball team is a part of the Virginia High School League and competes in the 6A South Region.

The James River high school Basketball team is one of the most successful teams in the state of Virginia. Under the guidance of Head Coach Leroy Hairston, the team has won two State Championships and has been to the playoffs numerous times. The team is made up of talented players who work hard on and off the court.

The James River high school basketball season is just around the corner, and we have your schedule.
The first game is on December 3rd, away, against Zionsville Community high school The second game is on December 6th, at home, against Hamilton Southeastern High School
The next four games are all away games; against Carmel High School on December 10th, Frankfort High School on December 13th, Noblesville High School on December 17th, and then West Lafayette High School on December 20th.
The last four games of the season are all at home; against Kokomo High School on January 7th, Anderson High School on January 10th, Fishers High school on January 14th, and then Harrison High School on January 17th.

The James River high school basketball team has some of the most passionate and dedicated fans in the state. They pack the stands for every Home game and their support is always felt on the court. When the team is playing well, the fans are electric, and when they’re struggling, they’re still there cheering them on.
There’s nothing quite like a James River High School basketball game The energy in the arena is palpable, and it’s clear that the fans take their basketball very seriously. Whether they’re cheering on a win or commiserating a loss, they’re always supporting their team.
James River high school basketball – The Rivalries
In Virginia, High school basketball is more than just a game – it’s a way of life. And nowhere is that more evident than in the James River Valley where three high school basketball teams – the James River Eagles, the Blue Ridge Bulldogs, and the Highland Hornets – have been locked in a fierce rivalry for decades.
Every year, these three schools battle it out on the court in what has become known as the “James River Valley Basketball Classic ” The winner of this annual event is not only crowned the valley’s basketball champion, but also takes home bragging rights for the entire year.
This heated rivalry has produced some of the most exciting moments in Virginia high school basketball history. In 2011, for example, the James River Eagles pulled off a miraculous come-from-behind victory over the Blue Ridge Bulldogs to win the classic in dramatic fashion. It was a moment that both Eagles and Bulldogs fans will never forget.
With so much at stake, it’s no wonder that these three schools take their basketball rivalry so seriously. For students, faculty, and alumni alike, High School Basketball is a way of life in the James River Valley.

James River high school is home to one of the most successful basketball programs in the state of Virginia. The school has won five state championships more than any other high school in the state. The team has also been to the Final Four of the National high school Basketball Tournament three times, more than any other team in Virginia.
The James River high school basketball program was started in the early 1970s by former head coach Jack Doss. Doss led the team to its first state championship in 1975. under his leadership, the team won four more State Championships and made three trips to the Final Four of the National high school Basketball Tournament
Former Head Coach Jack Doss is enshrined in the James River high school Hall of Fame He is joined by two other members of the Hall of Fame former player Jerry West and former Assistant Coach Billy Donovan

James River high school basketball is a team that is known for their skills on the court. They compete against other schools in the area and have won numerous championships. The students on the team are passionate about basketball and work hard to improve their skills.

With over 20 years of experience, they know how to develop young talent and prepare them for success at the collegiate level. But more importantly, they care about their players and want to see them succeed both on and off the court.

With 12 State Championships and numerous conference titles, the school has produced some of the best players in the country. The James River High School basketball team has a lot to be excited about in the coming years. The team is young and talented, with a bright future ahead.
The team is led by seniors Jaden McDermott and Mason Parker, who are both Division I commits. McDermott is headed to Virginia Tech and Parker will be playing for George Mason University.
The junior class is also loaded with talent, including point guard Isaiah Thomas who has already drawn interest from several top colleges.
With a core of young players that are already making waves on the recruiting trail the James River High School basketball team is one to watch in the coming years.
