Though he’s just 22 years old, Jose Alvarado has already accomplished a lot in his young life. The 6’5″ point guard from Brooklyn, New York signed a contract with the NBA’s Charlotte Hornets earlier this year, making him the first player from his High School to ever make it to the league. Jose Alvarado’s Legacy

Alvarado’s family released a statement following his death: “We are devastated by the loss of Jose Alvarado. He was an amazing son, brother, uncle, and friend who loved basketball and life itself.”
