Patrick Henry Community College Men’s basketball games are held in the half-circle shaped Amazement Square Arena. This state-of-the art facility is located in Martinsville, Virginia and has a capacity of 4,100 people. The court is made of Maple Wood and the seats are cushioned for comfort.

The Coaches

Patrick Henry Community College Men’s basketball offers an exciting and affordable experience for basketball fans in the Martinsville, Virginia area. The team is led by a group of experienced and passionate coaches who work tirelessly to ensure the success of their players both on and off the court.

Head coach Tyrone tube is in his third season with the Patriots and has led the team to unprecedented levels of success. Under his guidance, the team has won back-to-back conference championships and made two consecutive appearances in the NJCAA National Tournament In addition to his successes on the court, Coach White is also a pillar of the community, working with local youth groups and organizations to promote healthy living and positive role modeling.

Associate head coach Lonnie Blow, Jr. is entering his fifth season with PHCC and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the sidelines. Coach Blow has helped mold many of the Patriots’ players into NCAA Division I caliber athletes and has helped secure scholarships for numerous student-athletes. He is also heavily involved in community outreach, serving as a mentor for local youth.

The Patriots’ assistant coaches are:
Blake McLean: Coach McLean is entering his first season with PHCC after a successful stint as an Assistant Coach at Ferrum College. He will be working with the team’s guards and will be responsible for recruiting Virginia’s western region.
Jamal Jones: A native of Martinsville, Coach Jones is entering his second season with PHCC after serving as an assistant coach at Greensboro College. He will be working with post players and will be responsible for recruiting North Carolina’s Piedmont Triad region.
