At USM, we are lucky to have a highly experienced and talented Coaching Staff for our field hockey team Led by head coach Meg Guard, the team has enjoyed considerable success in recent years including winning the conference championship in 2017.
Assisting Coach Guard are Associate Head Coach Maryann Presley and assistant coaches Annie Paine and Alex Lunt. Coach Guard has been with the program for eight years, while the other three coaches have each been with the team for four years or less.
Together, this coaching staff has helped develop a culture of excellence within the Field hockey program at USM. They have instilled a strong work ethic in their players and have created an environment where teamwork and sportsmanship are highly valued.
