--shooting guard Junior transfer Ally Johnson is expected to start at shooting guard A sharpshooter with unlimited range, Johnson will add an instant scoring punch to the Wagner offense.

Off the bench, junior guard Mike Coffey provides a spark with his scoring and playmaking ability. Coffey is averaging 10.4 points per game and leads the team with 4.5 assists per contest. Freshman center Rashaan Holloway has also been impressive, averaging 8.2 points and 5.1 rebounds per game.

Wagner College’s Basketball Program has a long and successful history. Founded in 1883, the Seahawks have won five NCAA Division I championships and made 14 appearances in the NCAA Tournament In recent years Wagner has been one of the top teams in the East Conference winning back-to-back titles in 2015 and 2016. The Seahawks have also produced a number of NBA players including Current Dallas Mavericks star Dirk Nowitzki

The Rivalry

The annual Wagner-Rider basketball game is always one to watch. These two teams have a long-standing rivalry, and every year, the game is intense. This year is no different, and fans can expect a great game
