After going undrafted in 2013, Kyle Casey signed a partially guaranteed contract with the Boston Celtics He would go on to play Summer League basketball with the Celtics before being waived by the team in 2014. Casey would spend time playing overseas before being drafted by the Austin Spurs of the G League in 2016.
