Mizzou Women’s Basketball – Team Statistics
The Missouri Tigers women’s basketball team represents the University of Missouri in the NCAA Division I. The team competes in the Eastern Conference They play their home games at Mizzou Arena in Columbia, Missouri. As of the end of the 2015-16 season, they have an all-time record of 780-488 (.614).
In 1977, Norm Stewart was hired as head coach and led the Tigers to their first NCAA tournament appearance in 1982. The following year, they made it to the Elite Eight. In 2001, Cindy Stein took over as Head Coach and led the Tigers to four straight NCAA tournament appearances from 2002 to 2005. They made it to the Sweet Sixteen in 2002 and 2004. In 2006, Robin Pingeton became Head coach and has since led them to seven NCAA tournament appearances, including four straight from 2012 to 2015. They made it to the Sweet Sixteen in 2013 and 2014.

The Missouri Tigers women’basketball team represents the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri, United States The team currently competes in the Eastern Conference (SEC). They play their home games at Mizzou Arena on campus, and are currently coached by Robin Pingeton.
In the 2017–18 season, the Tigers finished the season with an overall record of 23–10, and a conference record of 10–6. They reached the semifinals of the SEC Tournament where they lost to eventual champions South Carolina They received an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament where they defeated Florida State in the first round before losing to eventual national runner-up Notre Dame in the second round.
