Introducing the North Florida Ospreys
The North Florida Ospreys are a NCAA Division I Basketball team representing the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, Florida. They are members of the Atlantic Sun Conference. The Ospreys play their home games at the UNF Arena, and are currently coached by Matt Driscoll.
The team’s All-time leading scorer is Chris Duhon, who scored 2,120 points during his four-year career with the Ospreys from 2001 to 2005. Other notable alumni include Dallas Mavericks guard JJ Barea and Washington Wizards forward Danuel House Jr..

The Ospreys are a Division I basketball team who compete in the Atlantic Sun Conference They are led by Head Coach Matthew Driscoll, who is in his fifth season with the team.
The Ospreys have a strong roster this year, led by senior guard Dallas Moore.Moore was named the Atlantic Sun Conference Preseason Player of the Year and is one of the leading scorers in Division I Basketball Joining Moore are fellow seniors Beau Beech and Wajid Aminu, who provide leadership and experience.
The Ospreys also have a talented group of younger players, including junior forward Chris Davenport and sophomore guard Troy Baxter Jr. Both Davenport and Baxter Jr. are expected to make big contributions this season.

– Tyler Murray: A Sophomore guard who is a gifted scorer. He has unlimited potential and is expected to have a big impact on the team this season.
Forwards
– Josh Adel: A Senior forward who is a versatile player. He can score, rebound, and play defense He is a key player for the team.
– Kelvin Robinson: A Junior forward who is an athletic player with a lot of upside. He needs to continue to develop his skills, but he has the potential to be a very good player
– Davon Usher: A Sophomore forward who is long and athletic. He needs to add strength, but he has the potential to be a very good player in college basketball

Head Coach: Matthew Driscoll
The North Florida Ospreys are led by head coach Matthew Driscoll. In his five seasons at the helm of the Ospreys, Coach Driscoll has compiled a 97-103 record. Prior to arriving at North Florida, Coach Driscoll was the Head Coach at the University of New Orleans, where he led the Privateers to a 24-11 record and a NCAA tournament berth in 2015.
Assistant Coaches: Kevin Brown Steve Smith and Casey Stanley
Kevin Brown is in his fourth season as an Assistant Coach on Coach Driscoll’s staff. A native of Queens, New York, Coach Brown has helped lead the Ospreys to back-to-back 20+ win seasons for the first time in program history. Steve Smith is in his sixth season as an assistant coach with the Ospreys. A native of Jacksonville, Florida, Coach Smith has been integral in helping develop several all-conference players during his time at North Florida. Casey Stanley is in his second season as an assistant coach with the Ospreys. A native of Knoxville, Tennessee, Coach Stanley specializes in player development and scouting.
Players to Watch: Wajid Aminu (F), Garrett Sams (G), and Josh Endicott (F)
Wajid Aminu is a 6’9″ forward who is entering his junior year with the Ospreys. A native of Orlando, Florida, Aminu was named to the Atlantic Sun All-Freshman team after averaging 6.7 points and 5 rebounds per game as a freshman. Garrett Sams is a 6’6″ guard who is entering his sophomore year with the Ospreys. A native of Neptune Beach, Florida, Sams was named to the Atlantic Sun All-Freshman team after averaging 12 points per game as a freshman. Josh Endicott is a 6’7″ forward who is entering his senior year with the Ospreys. A native of Charleston, South Carolina Endicott was named First Team All-Atlantic Sun last season after averaging 15 points and 7 rebounds per game en route to leading North Florida to its first ever NCAA Tournament appearance.

Guard: junior guard Dallas Moore is the team’s leading scorer, averaging 20 points per game He’s also a top three-point shooter in the conference.
Forward: redshirt senior Demarcus Daniels is one of the top rebounders in the conference, averaging 9 per game. He’s also second on the team in scoring, averaging 14 points per game
Center: senior Romelo Banks is the Ospreys’ big man in the middle. He’s averaging 10 points and 8 rebounds per game.
