The roster is made up of players who are currently attending Junior College as well as High School graduates who are attending Pima on scholarship.

The team is based in Tucson, Arizona, and their home games are played at Kino Sports Complex which is also the home of the Tucson Saguaros minor league baseball team. The Pima Aztecs Baseball Program has been in existence since 1966, and has been playing its home games at Kino sports complex since 2001.

Zachary Denton is a 6-foot-4-inch right-handed pitcher from Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He played his freshman season at Arizona Western College before transferring to Pima. He was named the 2017 NJCAA Region I Pitcher of the Year, and was also named a First Team All-American by the National Baseball Coaches Association. Denton was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the 33rd round of the 2018 MLB Draft but opted to return to Pima for his sophomore season.

Max Garza is a 6-foot-2-inch right-handed pitcher from San Tan Valley, Arizona. He played his freshman season at Mountain Pointe high school before transferring to Pima. He was named the 2018 NJCAA Region I Pitcher of the Year, and was also named a First Team All-American by Perfect Game USA Garza was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 39th round of the 2019 MLB Draft but opted to return to Pima for his sophomore season.
