Alcorn State men’s basketball will put its five-game Win Streak on the line when it opens Southwestern Athletic conference play Saturday.

The Braves (5-7) will host Mississippi Valley State (1-11) at 5:30 p.m. in the Davey Whitney Complex. Alcorn is coming off a 77-48 win over Talladega last Saturday.

In SWAC action, Alcorn will face defending conference champion Texas Southern twice, Alabama A&M three times and Jackson State twice. The Braves will travel to play Prairie View A&M and Grambling State once each.
