The Michigan Women’s Basketball Schedule A Quick Overview

The Michigan women’s basketball team will take on some of the best teams in the country this season. Here is a quick overview of their schedule.

The Wolverines will open their season at home against Central Michigan on November 7th. They will then hit the road for games against Rutgers and Northwestern.

Their first big test of the season will come on December 2nd when they host Ohio State The Buckeyes are always a tough opponent, and this game will be a good measuring stick for the Wolverines.

Michigan will have a few weeks off before resuming their schedule with a road game against Indiana on December 30th. They will then close out the year with home games against Maryland and Penn State

The Big Ten conference tournament will be held from March 7-10 in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Wolverines will hope to make a run in the tournament and earn a spot in the NCAA tournament

The NCAA Tournament is scheduled to begin on March 15th and continue through April 8th. The Wolverines will need to win some big games in order to advance to the Final Four and compete for a National Championship

The Michigan Women’s Basketball team has released their schedule for the upcoming season Here is a closer look at the key games:

The season starts with an exhibition game against Saginaw Valley State on October 30th. The Wolverines then have a stretch of five straight home games to open the season. They will host Eastern Michigan Detroit Mercy Green Bay Oakland, and Louisville during that stretch.

The first road game of the season comes against Northwestern on November 17th. This will be the start of a three-game road trip as they also travel to play Purdue and Iowa.

Big Ten play begins at home against Illinois on December 1st. The Wolverines then have a tough road stretch as they play Rutgers, Maryland, and Ohio State in back-to-back-to-back games.

They close out 2019 with a Home game against Nebraska on December 29th.

Michigan will have their first conference game of 2020 on the road against Penn State on January 3rd. They then have three straight home games hosting Indiana, Wisconsin, and Northwestern.

The final stretch of the season includes some tough games as they travel to play Maryland and Iowa before closing out the regular season at home against Rutgers on February 29th.

The Big Ten Tournament will be held from March 4th-8th in Indianapolis, Indiana at Bankers Life Fieldhouse
