Mount Pleasant Basketball Announces New Head Coach
The Mount Pleasant basketball team is excited to announce our new head coach! We are confident that with coach’s experience and expertise, we will be able to take our team to the next level.
The Mount Pleasant high school announced today that Alan Maynard will be the new Head Coach of the boys’ Basketball team
Maynard comes to Mount Pleasant with over 25 years of coaching experience at the high school and collegiate levels. Most recently, he served as an assistant coach at the University of Richmond. Prior to that, he was the Head coach at Christopher Newport University
“I am very excited to be joining the Mount Pleasant community,” said Maynard. “I am looking forward to working with the team and helping them reach their full potential.”
The Mount Pleasant high school boys’ basketball team has a long tradition of success, winning State Championships in 2001 and 2002.
The Mount Pleasant Basketball team has announced their new head coach coach John Smith comes to Mount Pleasant with a wealth of experience, having coached at the collegiate and professional levels.
Coach Smith’s first order of business will be to evaluate the current roster and identify areas where the team can improve. He will then work with the staff to put together a plan for the upcoming season
The team is excited to have Coach Smith on board and is looking forward to a successful season under his leadership.
The Mount Pleasant basketball team has announced a new head coach Coach James Jones will be taking over the program after the retirement of longtime head coach John Smith.
Coach Jones has been with the Mount Pleasant Basketball Program for the last 10 years, serving as an assistant coach under Coach Smith. He has also served as head coach of the Junior varsity team for the last 5 years. In that time, he has led the team to a record of 60-20.
Mount Pleasant Basketball is excited to have Coach Jones take over the program and continue the tradition of success that Mount Pleasant Basketball has been known for.
