The 2015 NBA playoffs began on April 18, 2015. It concluded with the 2015 NBA Finals on June 16, 2015, after which the Golden State Warriors were crowned the 2015 NBA champions
The Path to the Finals
The 2015 NBA playoffs are underway, and 16 teams are vying for the chance to be crowned champion. The Playoff Bracket is set, and the first round matchups are as follows:
Eastern Conference:
(1) Atlanta Hawks vs. (8) Brooklyn Nets
(2) Cleveland Cavaliers vs. (7) Boston Celtics
(3) Chicago Bulls vs. (6) Milwaukee Bucks
(4) Toronto Raptors vs. (5) Washington Wizards
Western Conference:
(1) Golden State Warriors vs. (8) New Orleans Pelicans
(2) Houston Rockets vs. (7) Dallas Mavericks
(3) Los Angeles Clippers vs. (6) San Antonio Spurs
(4) Portland Trail Blazers vs. (5) Memphis Grizzlies
The second round matchups will be as follows:
Eastern Conference
Atlanta Hawks/Brooklyn Nets winner vs. Cleveland Cavaliers/Boston Celtics winner
Toronto Raptors/Washington Wizards winner vs. Chicago Bulls/Milwaukee Bucks winner
Western Conference:
Golden State Warriors/New Orleans Pelicans winner vs. Houston Rockets/Dallas Mavericks winner

Then, the Conference Finals will take place, with the winners of each conference matchup facing off against each other for a chance to advance to the Finals. Finally, the NBA Finals will pit the two best teams in the league against each other in a best-of-seven series to determine who will be crowned champion.
Eastern Conference
In the 2015 NBA Playoffs the Eastern Conference will consist of the Atlanta Hawks (1), Cleveland Cavaliers (2), Chicago Bulls (3), Toronto Raptors (4), Washington Wizards (5), Milwaukee Bucks (6), Boston Celtics (7), and Brooklyn Nets (8). These teams will compete in a best-of-seven series, with the Hawks and Cavaliers receiving a first-round bye.
The playoffs will begin on Saturday, April 18th, with the Wizards taking on the Bucks in Milwaukee and the Raptors hosting the Celtics in Toronto. The Hawks will begin their playoff run at home against either the Nets or the winner of the Wizards/Bucks series on Sunday, April 19th.
The conference finals will take place between May 15th and May 31st, with the Finals beginning on June 2nd.
Western Conference
In the Western Conference the (1) Golden State Warriors will take on the (8) Memphis Grizzlies the (4) Houston Rockets will face the (5) Portland Trail Blazers the (3) Los Angeles Clippers will battle the (6) San Antonio Spurs and in the final matchup, the (2) Oklahoma City Thunder will go up against the (7) Dallas Mavericks
NBA Finals
The NBA Finals are the annual Championship Series of the National Basketball Association (NBA). The Eastern and Western Conference champions play a best-of-seven game series to determine the league champion. The winning team of the series receives the Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy, which replaced the Walter A. Brown Trophy in 1983.
2015 NBA Playoffs
The 2015 NBA Playoffs will begin on Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19. The action will continue on Monday, April 20 with two more games. From there, the playoffs will take a break until Wednesday, April 22 when four more teams will take the court. And so it will go until two teams are left standing and the 2015 NBA Finals begin.

2015 NBA Playoff Scores
In the 2015 NBA Playoffs a total of 16 teams will compete in a best-of-seven series to determine the champion of the 2014–15 NBA season Eight teams from each conference will qualify for the playoffs. These seeds will be determined by each team’s record at the end of the regular season The Playoff Bracket will then be determined by matching up the winners of each first-round series (seeds 1–8 in the conference) until all playoff spots have been filled. The four remaining teams from each conference will compete in a best-of-seven series for conference supremacy.
