While the cream of the crop in the NBA may be easy to predict, finding successful sleepers is what separates the good Fantasy basketball managers from the great ones. Here are some players who could be sleeper candidates for the 2022 season:

1. Kevin Love, Cleveland Cavaliers
2. Harrison Barnes Sacramento Kings
3. Collin Sexton Cleveland Cavaliers
4. Lonzo Ball New Orleans Pelicans

busts

When it comes to NBA Fantasy Basketball one of the most important things to know are the busts. Busts are the players that are overhyped and overvalued, and they usually don’t live up to the hype. In order to win your fantasy Basketball League you need to avoid these busts.

So, who are the busts for the 2022 season? Here is a list of the top 10 busts:

1. Lamelo Ball – Ball is a talented player, but he is still very raw and will make too many mistakes to be a successful fantasy player.
2. Zion Williamson – Williamson is another very talented player, but he is injury-prone and will miss too many games to be a consistent fantasy player.
3. RJ Barrett – Barrett has shown some promise, but he is still very inconsistent and will frustrate fantasy owners with his inconsistency.
4. Kevin Knox – Knox has shown flashes of potential, but he has been incredibly inconsistent and will likely continue to be inconsistent in the future.
5. Miles Bridges – Bridges is a good player but he doesn’t have the upside that other players in his Draft Class have.
6. Michael Porter Jr. – Porter Jr. has potential, but he has been injury-prone throughout his career and will likely miss significant time again next season.
7. Marvin Bagley III – Bagley III is another talented player who has been held back by injuries throughout his career. He likely won’t be able to stay healthy for a full season next year either.

fallers

There are always players who outperform expectations and exceed their ranking, and 2022 will be no different. Here are a few players who are ranked lower than they should be and are great values in any Fantasy Basketball draft.

Elfrid Payton: The young point guard from the New Orleans Pelicans is coming off a career year in which he averaged nearly 19 points, eight assists, and five rebounds per game He also shot a career-high 36 percent from three-point range Payton is only 26 years old and should only get better as he enters his prime. He is a great value in the later rounds of any fantasy draft

Dennis Schroder: Schroder was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers this offseason after spending the last four seasons with the Oklahoma City Thunder He will come off the bench for the Lakers, but he will still see significant playing time and could average close to 20 points per game Schroder is also a good three-point shooter and should see an increase in his assists with Lebron James drawing defenses. Schroder is a great value in the middle rounds of any fantasy draft.

Bam Adebayo: Adebayo is coming off a breakout season in which he averaged 15 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, and two blocks per game for the Miami Heat He is only 22 years old and has already established himself as one of the best young big men in the league. Adebayo should see an increase in all of his statistical categories next season and is a great value in the early rounds of any fantasy draft.
