The NBA Summer League is an annual showcase of the league’s up-and-coming talent. Every summer, all 30 NBA Teams descend on Las Vegas to play in a tournament-style event, with each team playing at least five games.

The Summer League has been a mainstay on the NBA calendar since it began in Las Vegas in 2004, but it has exploded in recent years with games now being televised on ESPN and attracting more and more fans.

This year’s event will be held from July 5-15 at the Thomas & Mack Center and Cox Pavilion on the campus of the University of Nevada Las Vegas All 30 NBA teams will participate, as well as the Chinese and Croatian national teams.

The following year, in 1994, the league realigned again so that there were three divisions in each Conference (Central, Atlantic and Midwest). The league also expanded to 20 teams with the addition of two new expansion franchises: the Toronto Raptors and Vancouver Grizzlies

From 1995 onward, the NBA Summer League has featured eight Conferences (Northwest, Southwest, Northeast, Southeast, Pacific West Coast , Atlantic East Coast , Central Midwest ,and Mountain) with four divisions in each Conference (Pacific West Coast Division I , II & III ; Northwest Division I & II; Southwest Division I & II; Central Midwest Division I & II; Southeast Division I & II; Northeast Division I & II; Atlantic East Coast Division I & II ,and Mountain Division I ,II & III ), for a total of 96Summer Leagueteams .
