The Totino-Grace Basketball team represents Totino-Grace High School in the Twin Cities suburb of Fridley, Minnesota. The team competes in the North Suburban Conference and is a member of the Minnesota State High School League The team plays its home games at Totino-Grace Activities Center. The Tigers have won eight State Championships most recently in 2017.

The Totino-Grace basketball team is made up of diverse and interesting young men. These are their stories.

Ralph Sampson III #50
Ralph is a 6’11” center who was born in Minneapolis, MN. He is the son of Ralph Sampson Jr., who played for the Houston Rockets and grandson of Ralph Sampson Sr., who played for the Virginia Squires. Ralph III played high school basketball at Duluth East high school where he was a two-time All-State selection. He then played collegiately at the University of Minnesota before being drafted by the Houston Rockets in 2012. He has also played for the Sacramento Kings Charlotte Hornets and Brooklyn Nets

Isaiah Canaan #5
Isaiah is a 6’1” guard who was born in Biloxi, MS. He played high school basketball at Murray State University Lab School, where he was a three-time All-State selection. Canaan then played collegiately at Murray State University where he was named Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Year as a junior. He was drafted by the Houston Rockets in 2013 and has also played for the Philadelphia 76ers, Phoenix Suns Chicago Bulls and Milwaukee Bucks

Shabazz Muhammad #15
Shabazz is a 6’6” forward who was born in Long Beach CA. He played high school basketball at Bishop Gorman high school in Las Vegas NV, where he was named Gatorade National Player of the Year as a senior. Muhammad then attended UCLA, where he was named First Team All-Pac 12 as a freshman. He declared for the NBA draft after his freshman year and was drafted by the Utah Jazz in 2013. He has also played for the Minnesota Timberwolves and New Orleans Pelicans

Totino Grace Basketball Opponent Previews

The Totino Grace basketball team has had a great season so far, with a record of 16-3. They have some tough games coming up, against some very strong opponents. Here is a preview of their upcoming games:

January 25th – Totino Grace vs Minneapolis North
Minneapolis North is currently 14-4 and ranked 4th in the state. This will be a very tough game for Totino Grace, but they have shown that they can compete with anyone.

February 1st – Totino Grace vs DeLaSalle
DeLaSalle is currently 17-1 and ranked 2nd in the state. This is sure to be an exciting game, as both teams are very good. Totino Grace will need to be at their best to win this one.

February 8th – Totino Grace vs Benilde-St. Margaret’s
Benilde-St. Margaret’s is currently 16-3 and ranked 3rd in the state. This will be another tough game for Totino Grace, but they have shown that they can compete with anyone.

Totino Grace Basketball NCAA News

Totino-Grace high school is a private, Catholic High School in Fridley, Minnesota. The school is operated by the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis and serves grades 9-12. Totino-Grace is a member of the Minnesota State high school League and offers a variety of sports programs.

Basketball is a popular sport at Totino-Grace, with both boys’ and girls’ teams. The boys’ team has been particularly successful in recent years winning the state championship in 2016 and 2017. The girls’ team has also had success, winning the state championship in 2014.

Both teams play their home games at Totino-Grace High School The boys’ team plays in the North Suburban Conference, while the girls’ team plays in the Wright County Conference.
