The Usm Basketball Schedule is Out: A Quick Overview

The University of Southern Maine men’s Basketball Schedule is now available, and there are some quick things to note. Firstly, the team will be playing a total of 30 games this season – 23 of which are conference matchups. The opener is set for Saturday, November 9th against Husson University at 2:00pm in the new Costello Athletic Center.

Other notable games include the conference opener at home against Castleton on Saturday, December 7th at 2:00pm, and a 6-game stretch in late-January through early February where the Huskies will play 5 of those 6 games on the road.

The University of Southern Maine Huskies men’s basketball team has released their schedule for the upcoming season Here’s a look at what to expect:

The Huskies will open their season on the road against Norwich University on November 8th. They’ll then have a stretch of home games beginning with a November 12th matchup against Maine Maritime Academy. Other home games during the month of November include contests against the University of New England and Thomas College

In December, the Huskies will participate in the annual Beach Ball Classic tournament in Myrtle Beach South Carolina They’ll open nt play against Mercyhurst University on December 20th. Their opponents in the Beach Ball Classic have yet to be determined.

When conference play begins in January, the Huskies will be looking to defend their America East title. They’ll open conference play at home against Stony Brook University on January 3rd. Other key conference games include a January 17th matchup at the University of Hartford and a February 7th contest at home against Binghamton University.

The Huskies will conclude their regular season with a March 2nd matchup at home against Albany University. The 2020 America East Men’s Basketball Tournament is scheduled to begin on March 10th and will be hosted by the highest seeds.
