The best players outside of the NBA 2K22
The best players outside of the 2K22 NBA season are, as always, difficult to determine. There is no real “off-season” in the world of basketball, with International Players often plying their trade in other countries and in other leagues. But there are a handful of players who have stood out above the rest in terms of both their performance and their potential heading into the next NBA season Here is a look at some of the best players who will not be playing in the NBA this season
Damian Lillard – The Portland Trail Blazers star has been one of the best players in the world for a few years now, and he proved it once again this season by leading his team to the playoffs while putting up 27 points and 7 assists per game Lillard is an elite scorer and a dynamic playmaker, and he would be an All-Star in just about any other season. He is one of the few bright spots on a Blazers team that has struggled since losing Jusuf Nurkic to injury last year, and he will be looking to carry them back to prominence next season.
De’Aaron Fox – The Sacramento Kings point guard took a big step forward this season, averaging 21 points and 6 assists per game while shooting 50% from the field. Fox is an explosive athlete with great speed and quickness, and he uses that to his advantage on both ends of the floor. He is still just 22 years old, and he has already established himself as one of the best young players in the league. The Kings have been rebuilding for years, but Fox appears to be the player who can finally lead them back to respectability.
Zach LaVine – The Chicago Bulls shooting guard had a breakout year this season, averaging 25 points per game while shooting 47% from three-point range LaVine is an incredible athlete with great scoring ability, and he has slowly but surely developed into one of the best players in the league. The Bulls have been struggling for years, but LaVine gives them hope for the future. If he can continue to develop his all-around game, he has a chance to become an All-Star next season.
