It’s that time of year again! The season when college basketball teams from all around the country compete for the title of NCAA National Champion Who will be starting for your favorite team this season?
Kentucky
The Kentucky Wildcats men’s basketball team is set to begin their season on November 6th, 2019. Who will be starting for them?
The starting lineup for the Kentucky Wildcats is projected to be:
PG: Ashton Hagans
SG: Tyler Herro
SF: Kahlil Whitney
PF: EJ Montgomery
C: Nick Richards
This lineup is subject to change, of course, but this is who is projected to start for the Kentucky Wildcats as they begin their 2019-2020 Season
Duke
Duke will be starting the season with a few changes from last year. Gone are RJ Barrett and Zion Williamson the two leading scorers from last year’s team. Also gone is Cam Reddish who was the third leading scorer. The good news for Duke is that they do have some experienced players returning. The projected starters are:

Kansas
This season, the Kansas Jayhawks will be led by returning starters Devon Dotson and Udoka Azubuike Dotson, a 6’2″ guard, was Kansas’ leading scorer last season, averaging over 16 points per game Azubuike, a 7’0″ center, averaged just over 13 points and 10 rebounds per game Kansas also has some key newcomers who will be looking to make an impact this season, including Tristan Enaruna, a 6’7″ forward from the Netherlands, and Ochai Agbaji a 6’5″ guard from Missouri.
North Carolina

This Starting Lineup is subject to change as the season goes on, but this is the most likely scenario.
UCLA
UCLA will have a young and inexperienced team this season as they try to rebuild after last year’s disappointing performance. The starting lineup will likely include freshman PG Lonzo Ball sophomore SF Isaac Hamilton, junior PF TJ Leaf, and seniors C Thomas Welsh and SG Aaron Holiday Ball is the most exciting player to watch on this team and should be one of the best players in the country. The Bruins will be relying on him to provide leadership and scoring. Hamilton is a good shooter who can also put the ball on the floor and create his own shot. Leaf is a versatile big man who can score inside and out. Welsh is a big body who can rebound and block shots Holiday is a solid all-around player who does a little bit of everything. UCLA will be a fun team to watch this season, but they will probably not be one of the top teams in the country.
Louisville
This season, the Louisville Cardinals will be led by a core group of experienced upperclassmen. The team will be anchored by senior center Steven Enoch, who averaged 10.5 points and 6.7 rebounds per game last season. Senior point guard Darius Perry will also return after averaging 9.0 points and 3.5 assists per game last season. Other key contributors from last year’s team who will be back this season include junior forward Dwayne Sutton (8.4 points, 5.4 rebounds per game) and sophomore guard Lamarr Kimble (7.6 points per game).
Syracuse
Jim Boeheim has been the Head Coach of the Syracuse University men’s Basketball team since 1976. In that time, he has led the team to five NCAA Final Fours appearances and three National Championship titles. The Syracuse Orange are a perennial powerhouse in the college basketball world, and this year is shaping up to be no different. Who will be starting for the Orange this season?
Forwards:
-Oshae Brissett: A 6’8” sophomore from Mississauga, Ontario, Brissett is coming off of a stellar freshman campaign in which he averaged 12.4 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. He is a versatile player who can score inside and out, and he is expected to be one of the leaders of this Syracuse team
-Elijah Hughes: A 6’6” swingman from Beacon, New York, Hughes transferred to Syracuse from East Carolina University after averaging 16.8 points per game as a freshman. He is a talented scorer who can play both small forward and shooting guard
-Matthew Moyer: A 6’8” forward from South Bend Indiana, Moyer redshirted last season after transferring to Syracuse from Indiana University He is a big body who can provide an inside presence on both Offense and defense
Guards:
--Frank Howard A 6’5” senior from Suitland, Maryland, Howard is the starting point guard for Syracuse. He averaged 12.9 points and 4 assists per game last season and is a steadying force on both ends of the court.
-Tyus Battle: A 6’6” junior from Edison, New Jersey, Battle is one of the best scorers in College Basketball He averaged 19 points per game last season and will be counted on to carry a heavy load offensively for the Orange this year
Indiana
Cody Zeller, the 6’11” center from Indiana, is widely considered one of the best players in the country. He averaged 16.5 points and 8 rebounds per game as a freshman, and was named the Big Ten Freshman of the Year. He has declared for the NBA draft and is expected to be a lottery pick.
Connecticut
In just a few weeks, the college Basketball season will be underway. Here is a look at who will be starting for your favorite team this season.
The Connecticut Huskies will have a new look this season with several new faces in the starting lineup Jalen Adams and Terry Larrier are the only two players who started for the Huskies last season who will be back in the starting five this season. They will be joined by Alterique Gilbert, Rodney Purvis, and Kentan Facey.
Ohio State
The Ohio State Buckeyes are a Division I college basketball team representing Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. The Buckeyes are members of the Big Ten Conference and compete in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament where they have reached the Elite Eight four times and the Final Four twice. The Buckeyes currently have an active NCAA tournament appearance streak of 23 seasons.
