The NCAA Baseball Regionals are upon us and 64 teams will be fighting for a chance to make it to the College World Series Here’s a look at who’s in and who’s out.
NCAA Baseball Regionals Who’s In and Who’s Out?
The NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament starts on Friday, May 31, with regionals held at 16 sites around the country. The field of 64 teams will be announced on Monday, May 27.
Here’s a look at who’s in and who’s out of the tournament, as well as the top contenders for the national title.

Top contenders:
Oregon State Beavers: The Beavers are one of the top teams in the country and are the favorites to win the national title. They have a deep pitching staff that includes ace Luke Heimlich, and they also have a potent offense led by All-American third baseman Michael Conforto.
Vanderbilt Commodores: The Commodores are another top team in the country and are also contenders for the national title. They have a strong pitching staff led by ace Tyler Beede, and their offense is led by slugging first baseman Zander Wiel.
Stanford Cardinal The Cardinal are one of the top teams in the Pac-12 Conference and are also contenders for the national title. They have a deep pitching staff that includes ace Mark Appel and their offense is led by third baseman Stephen Piscotty.

As the NCAA Baseball Tournament winds down, four teams have emerged as the best in the country and will be playing in the College World Series The teams are:
1. Vanderbilt
2. Louisville
3. Michigan
4. Florida State
These four teams have fought their way through the tournament and will now battle it out for the National Championship Vanderbilt is the top seed and will be playing Louisville in the first game. Michigan will play Florida State in the second game.
The winner of each game will advance to the National Championship game, which will be played on Monday, June 24th.

The other three teams in each region are paired off against each other in a best-of-three series, with the winners of those two series advancing to play each other in a best-of-three series. The first regional is being played in Tallahassee, Florida, and it features two ACC teams and two SEC teams. The top seed in this regional is Florida State who is ranked third in the country. They will be playing Samford, who is making their first ever NCAA tournament appearance. The other game in this regional will feature Auburn against Florida Atlantic Auburn is coming off a disappointing regular season but they are still a dangerous team. Florida Atlantic is making their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2008.
The second regional is being played in Chapel Hill North Carolina The top seed here is UNC, who finished second in the ACC behind only Florida State They will be playing Davidson, who won the Atlantic 10 conference tournament to earn their spot in the NCAA tournament The other game in this regional will feature South Carolina against Liberty. South Carolina struggled down the stretch but they are still a dangerous team. Liberty is making their first ever NCAA tournament appearance as well.
The third regional is being played out west in San Luis Obispo, California. The top seed here is Cal Poly who won the Big West conference tournament to earn their spot in the NCAA tournament field. They will be playing Pepperdine, who finished second behind only UCLA in the Pac-12 Conference Standings The other game out west will feature UC Irvine against TCU. UC Irvine won the Big West regular season title but lost to Cal Poly in the Conference Tournament final. TCU struggled down the stretch but they have one of the best pitching staffs in all of college baseball

The ACC, SEC, and Pac-12 are all done, and while the Big 12, Big Ten and AAC are still playing their tournaments as of this writing, we know the automatic qualifiers from those conferences. So let’s take a look at who’s in and who’s out of this year’s field of 64.
In the ACC, Florida State and Louisville are in as the top two seeds in their regionals. The Seminoles will host Mississippi State Samford, and Florida Gulf Coast while Louisville will host Illinois State Indiana State and Xavier.
In the SEC, Arkansas and Ole Miss are in as the top two seeds in their regionals. The Razorbacks will host Texas Tech Oral Roberts and Missouri State while Ole Miss will host Louisiana-Lafayette, Tulane, and Southeast Missouri State
In the Pac-12, Stanford and Oregon State are in as the top two seeds in their regionals. The Cardinal will host UC Santa Barbara Pepperdine ,and Sacramento State , while Oregon State will host Northwestern , Creighton ,and Gonzaga .
