The NBA is planning to expand the league from 30 teams to 32 in 2022. The addition of two more teams will be the first time since 2000 that the league has expanded.

All-Star game

This years All-Star game will be played in Chicago on February 17, 2022. In order to be eligible for the All-Star Game a player must have played in at least 50 games by February 1 of that year.

The annual event is one of the most popular sporting events and brings together the best players from across the league. Last years All-Star Game was watched by 6.7 million people on television and attracted a record number of fans on social media

The All-Star Game is also a platform for other awards such as the Kia Most Valuable Player Award which is given to the best player of the game. This years All-Star game will be the 71st edition of the event and will feature some of the most talented players in the NBA.

Rosters

The rosters for the 2022 NBA All-Star teams were announced on Wednesday afternoon. The 2021 All-Star Game will be played on February 20, 2022 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

The All-Star Game will feature 24 of the best players in the NBA, 12 from each conference. The starters were chosen by fans, who voted online or through social media platforms like Instagram and Twitter. The starters were announced on January 18, 2021.

The reserves were chosen by the head coaches from each conference. Coaches were not allowed to vote for players from their own team. The reserves were announced on January 28, 2021.

The NBA is a ever-changing league. Players are always being traded, drafted, or signing new contracts. So, it’s no surprise that the All NBA teams for the 2022 season will look very different from the 2020-2021 teams. Here are some of the changes you can expect to see.

First and foremost, Lebron James will not be on the Los Angeles Lakers next year. He has opted to sign with the Golden State Warriors This means that Steph Curry will be the only player on the Warriors roster with an All NBA selection. Second, Kawhi Leonard has also left the Lakers, signing with the Portland Trail Blazers And lastly, Zion Williamson will not be playing for the New Orleans Pelicans next year; he has been traded to the Charlotte Hornets in a blockbuster deal.

As for who will be taking their place, Jayson Tatum and Donovan Mitchell are both expected to have breakout years and could very well find themselves on an All NBA team Other players to keep an eye on include Lamelo Ball Bam Adebayo, Trae Young and Bradley Beal

Free Agency

The NBA offseason is in Full Swing with the start of Free agency on Nov. 20. After a hectic start to the new league year, things have slowed down a bit, but there are still plenty of storylines to keep an eye on as we head into the heart of the offseason.

One of the biggest questions heading into free agency was what teams would look like after a season that was largely overshadowed by the coronavirus pandemic. Training Camp

The NBA season is upon us and training camp is in full swing. All 30 teams are preparing for what should be another great year of basketball. Here is a look at the teams that will be vying for the NBA Championship in 2022.

The Golden State Warriors are the defending champions and they will once again be one of the favorites to win it all. They have a core of All-Star Players that have been together for several years and they always seem to find a way to win. The Warriors will once again be led by Stephen Curry who is one of the best players in the world.

The Houston Rockets are another team that will be contending for a title next season. They made some big changes this offseason, adding All-Star guard Russell Westbrook to their already potent lineup. With Westbrook teaming up with James Harden the Rockets will have one of the best backcourts in the league.

The Los Angeles Lakers are always a team to watch and they should be contenders once again next season. They added All-Star forward Anthony Davis to their team this offseason, which makes them even more dangerous. The Lakers also have one of the best players in the world in Lebron James so they will always be a force to be reckoned with.

These are just a few of the teams that will be competing for an NBA title next season. It should be another great year of basketball and we cant wait to see who comes out on top!

Pre-Season

The NBA is gearing up for another exciting season! With the offseason in full swing, teams are working hard to get their rosters in order for the upcoming season As we wait for the season to start, let’s take a look at some of the teams that will be contending for the title in 2022.

The Golden State Warriors are the defending champions and they will be looking to repeat in 2022. They have a star-studded roster that includes Steph Curry Klay Thompson and Draymond Green They also added some depth in the offseason with the addition of Andrew Wiggins

The Houston Rockets are another team to watch in 2022. They made a splash in the offseason by acquiring Russell Westbrook from the Oklahoma City Thunder They also have a great young core with players like James Harden and Clint Capela

The Boston Celtics are another team that should be contenders in 2022. They have a young and talented roster that features players like Jayson Tatum Jaylen Brown, and Marcus Smart They also added Kemba Walker and Enes Kanter in the offseason to help bolster their lineup.

The Los Angeles Lakers are always a team to watch and they will be looking to Bounce Back after a disappointing 2020 season. They have two of the best players in the world in Lebron James and Anthony Davis They also added some veteran pieces in the offseason with the additions of Dwight Howard and Montrezl Harrell

Regular Season

As the 2021 regular season comes to a close, it’s time to take a look at the All NBA teams for 2022. The All NBA teams are selected by a panel of sportswriters and broadcasters throughout the United States and Canada.

The three All NBA teams are selected by position and there are two guards, two forwards, one center, and two players who can be selected from any position.

The first team consists of the league’s most Valuable Player (MVP), two guards, two forwards, and one center. The second team consists of the second-best player at each position. The third team consists of the third-best player at each position.

The NBA postseason is finally upon us! After a long and grueling regular season the 16 best teams in the league have been decided and it’s time for them to battle it out for the NBA Championship

As we look ahead to the playoffs, let’s take a moment to honor the top players and teams from the Regular Season with our annual awards.

First up, we have the Kia Most Valuable Player award. This year’s finalists are Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors and Joel Embiid of the Philadelphia 76ers. All three players had an incredible season, but there can only be one winner.

The Defensive Player of the Year Award goes to Rudy Gobert of the Utah Jazz Gobert was a large part of why the Jazz had the best defense in the league this season, and he is deserving of this honor.

The Most Improved Player Award goes to Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks In just his second season in the league, Doncic has established himself as one of the best players in the world and has led the Mavericks to a playoff berth.

The sixth man of the Year Award goes to Montrezl Harrell of the Los Angeles Clippers Harrell was a key part of one of the deepest teams in the league and was often tasked with providing a much-needed spark off of the bench.

The Coach of The Year Award goes to Nick Nurse of The Toronto Raptors Nurse led The Raptors to their second consecutive 50+ win season and has them poised for another deep playoff run.

Rounding out our awards is The Instagrammable Moment Of The Year Award which goes to Dwyane Wade’s final game against The Golden State Warriors In what was surely one other emotional night for Wade, he put up an incredible stat line of 30 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists in his final game against one of his biggest rivals.

Now that we’ve honored some of our favorite players and moments from this past regular season it’s time to turn our attention to what really matters: The playoffs!
