Jamal Mashburn

Jamal Mashburn is one of the most successful Kentucky basketball alumni, both on and off the court. After a successful college career, he was drafted into the NBA where he spent 12 seasons with the Dallas Mavericks Miami Heat Charlotte Hornets and New Orleans Hornets. He was an All-Star in 2003 and retired after the 2004-05 season.

Since his retirement from basketball, Jamal Mashburn has been very successful as a businessman. He is the owner of several car dealerships, as well as several Outback Steakhouse restaurants. He also has a minority stake in the Kentucky Wildcats men’s basketball team In 2013, he was inducted into the Kentucky Athletic Hall of Fame

Antoine Walker

Now 41 years old, Antoine Walker last played in the NBA in 2008. He then had a brief stint in the D-League before going overseas to play in Puerto Rico and China. In 2012, he was arrested for failing to pay gambling debts, and filed for bankruptcy in 2010. In 2015, he was working as an Assistant Coach for the Kentucky Mavericks of the ABA.

Rajon Rondo

Rajon Rondo was born on February 22, 1986 in Louisville, Kentucky. He is a former professional basketball player who played for the Boston Celtics Dallas Mavericks Sacramento Kings and Chicago Bulls He is currently a free agent Rondo was a four-time All-Star and won an NBA Championship with the Celtics in 2008. He is ranked as one of the top ten point guards of all time.

DeMarcus Cousins

Demarcus Cousins one of the most talented big men in the NBA, was born and raised in Mobile, Alabama. He played his High School basketball at Erwin high school in Birmingham, Alabama. From there he went on to play his collegiate basketball at the University of Kentucky After one season with the Wildcats, he declared himself eligible for the 2010 NBA draft where he was drafted 5th overall by the Sacramento Kings

Cousins has been with the Kings since 2010 and is currently in his 9th season with the team. He is a four-time NBA All-Star and was named to the All-NBA Second Team in 2015 and 2016. He is also a two-time recipient of the prestigious Jerry West Award, given to the best shooting guard in the NBA.

Devin Booker

In Devin Booker’s three years with the Kentucky Wildcats he became one of the most decorated scorers in program history. He led the team in scoring his sophomore and junior seasons, averaging 19.2 points per game as a sophomore and 20.5 points per game as a junior. He was named an All-American by the Associated Press and the National Association of Basketball Coaches in his junior year. After forgoing his senior season to enter the 2015 NBA Draft he was selected 13th overall by the Phoenix Suns

Booker has had a successful start to his NBA Career He was named to the NBA All-Rookie First Team in 2016 and has averaged over 22 points per game in each of his first three seasons. His best season came in 2017-18 when he averaged 24.9 points, 4.7 assists and 4.5 rebounds per game while shooting 38 percent from three-point range He scored a career-high 70 points against the Boston Celtics in early 2017, becoming just the sixth player in NBA history to score at least 70points in a game.

Booker is still just 22 years old and has already established himself as one of the best young scorers in the league. With many years still ahead of him, it’s safe to say that we haven’t seen anywhere near his ceiling just yet.

Karl-Anthony Towns

Karl-Anthony Towns is a Kentucky Basketball alumnus who is currently playing for the Minnesota Timberwolves in the NBA. He was drafted first overall in the 2015 NBA Draft and went on to win Rookie of the Year in his first season. Towns has since established himself as one of the best young big men in the league, and was named an All-Star for the first time in 2018.

Anthony Davis

Anthony Davis who played for Kentucky from 2011 to 2012, is currently a center for the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA. He was drafted first overall by the New Orleans Pelicans in the 2012 NBA draft and he won an NBA Championship with the Lakers in 2020.

John Wall

John Wall was drafted by the Kentucky Wildcats in 2010 and played for one season before being drafted first overall by the Washington Wizards in the NBA draft Wall played for the Wizards for nine seasons before being traded to the Houston Rockets in 2019. He is currently a free agent

Patrick Patterson

Patrick Patterson is a Kentucky basketball alum who is now playing for the Los Angeles Clippers He was drafted in the first round of the 2010 NBA Draft by the Houston Rockets and has also played for the Toronto Raptors and Oklahoma City Thunder

Eric Bledsoe

Eric Bledsoe is a Kentucky basketball alumnus who is currently in his eighth season in the NBA. He was drafted 18th overall by the Oklahoma City Thunder in the 2010 NBA Draft and has since played for the Los Angeles Clippers Milwaukee Bucks and Phoenix Suns Bledsoe is a 2-Ime Nba All-Star and was named to the All-NBA Third Team in 2017.
