UAH Basketball Releases 2019-2020 Schedule

The University of Alabama in Huntsville men’s Basketball team has finalized its schedule for the upcoming 2019-2020 season The Chargers will play a total of 30 games, including 17 at home in the von Braun Center.

“We are excited about our schedule for this season,” said Head Coach Lennie Acuff. “We have a great mix of opponents, both in and out of conference, and we are looking forward to the challenge each one presents.”

UAH will open the season with an exhibition game against Birmingham-Southern on Tuesday, November 5th at 7:00 p.m. The regular season will begin on Saturday, November 9th when the Chargers host West Alabama at 3:00 p.m.

UAH Releases 2019-2020 Basketball Schedule

The University of Alabama in Huntsville men’s basketball team has announced its schedule for the 2019-2020 season. The Chargers will play a total of 32 games, including 16 at home and 16 on the road.

UAH will open the season with an exhibition game against Tusculum on November 1st, followed by the regular season opener against Shorter on November 5th. The Chargers will then play a series of non-conference games against some tough competition, including games against Auburn, Ole Miss and Murray State

In conference play UAH will face off against six other teams in the Gulf South Conference Birmingham-Southern, West Florida Delta State Mississippi College Montevallo, and Valdosta State The GSC Tournament will be held from March 4-7, 2020.

2019-2020 UAH Basketball Schedule Released

The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) Chargers Basketball team has released their schedule for the upcoming 2019-2020 season. The Chargers will look to build on their momentum from last season when they finished with a record of 17-12 (12-8 in conference play).

This season, the Chargers will have 27 games on their schedule, including 14 conference games. They will open their season on November 8th at home against Mississippi Valley State Their final game of the Regular Season will be on March 7th at home against Alabama A&M.

The schedule includes several tough non-conference opponents, such as Xavier and Belmont, that will test the Chargers early on in the season. In conference play the Chargers will face off against some of the top teams in the Southern Conference including Wofford (the reigning conference champions) and Furman.

2019-2020 Basketball Schedule for UAH Released

The University of Alabama in Huntsville has announced their schedule for the upcoming 2019-2020 Basketball season The Chargers will open their season on the road against Liberty on November 5th, before returning home to host North Alabama on November 8th. In total, UAH will play 30 regular season games, with 15 of those being played at Spragins Hall. Notable home games include a December 21st matchup against in-state rival Birmingham Southern and a February 8th contest against conference foe powerhouse West Florida As always, the goal for head coach Lennie Acuff and his team is to make noise in the postseason and bring another Gulf South conference championship back to Huntsville.

UAH to Release 2019-2020 Basketball Schedule

The University of Alabama in Huntsville men’s basketball team will officially release its 2019-2020 schedule on Wednesday, August 21. As previously announced, the Chargers will open the season with an exhibition game against Oglethorpe on Tuesday, October 29.

The first official game of the season will be a road contest at North Alabama on Saturday, November 2. After returning home for two games against LeMoyne-Owen (11/5) and Lincoln Memorial (11/9), UAH will embark on a five-game road trip that includes contests at Kennesaw State (11/12), Bellarmine (11/16), Houston Baptist (11/23), Stephen F. Austin (11/26) and UT Tyler (12/1). The Chargers will close out 2019 with three straight home games against Tuskegee (12/7), Columbus State (12/14) and Paine (12/17).

UAH will open 2020 with three consecutive road contests at Lee (1/4), Christian Brothers (1/8) and Delta State (1/11) before returning home to host Mississippi College on Saturday, January 18. The Chargers hit the road again for three more games at West Florida (1/22), Valdosta State
(1/25) and UWF
(1/29). After hosting West Georgia on Saturday, February 1, UAH concludes the Regular Season with five of its final seven games on the road, including trips to North Alabama

The University of Alabama in Huntsville has announced their 2019-2020 basketball schedule The season will open on November 5th at home against Lipscomb University and will conclude on March 7th at home against Liberty University

UAH will play a total of 30 games in the 2019-2020 season, including 16 home games and 14 away games. Along with Lipscomb and Liberty, other notable opponents on the schedule include East Tennessee State Jacksonville State Chattanooga, and North Alabama

This will be the first season for Head Coach Lennie Acuff, who was hired in April after spending the last four seasons as Head coach of Chattanooga.

The Chargers will faceoff against some of the best teams in NCAA Division II basketball, including last year’s national runner-up, West Liberty University The schedule features 27 games, 14 of which will be at home in the Charger Coliseum.

The Chargers will open the season at home on November 5th against Freed-Hardeman University. they will then travel to Mississippi College on November 8th before returning home to face Talladega College on November 12th.

UAH will have a busy December, starting with a road trip to Florida to take on Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University on December 3rd. The Chargers will then host Shorter University on December 7th before hitting the road again to take on the University of North Alabama on December 14th. UAH will finish off their non-Conference Schedule at home against Huntingdon College on December 19th.

The Chargers will begin conference play on the road against the University Of Montevallo on January 2nd, 2020. They will then have a stretch of four straight home games beginning with Delta State University on January 4th, 2020. UAH will host Mississippi University for Women on January 9th and Christian Brothers University on January 11th before finishing off the homestand against Lee University on January 18th.

The Chargers will open the year with an exhibition game at Samford on Tuesday, October 29th, before beginning the regular season at home against former Gulf South Conference foe West Alabama on November 5th.

UAH will play a total of 27 Regular season games, including 16 contests against teams that qualified for the NCAA Division II Tournament last season. Highlighting the home slate are dates with defending National Champion Northwest Florida State (December 14th), as well as “Sweet 16” participant Lincoln Memorial (January 25th).

The University of Alabama in Huntsville men’s basketball team has finalized its schedule for the 2019-2020 season, the school announced on Tuesday.

The Chargers will open their season on the road against Louisiana Monroe on November 5th, before returning home to host Loyola Chicago on November 8th. Other notable games on the schedule include a road trip to take on Florida Gulf Coast on December 3rd, followed by a home game against Embry-Riddle on December 14th.

UAH will also participate in the GSC/SSC Challenge, hosted by West Florida, from December 27-29. The Chargers are set to take on West Alabama in their first game of the tournament before squaring off against either Shorter or Valdosta State

The final game of the regular season will be a road contest at Mississippi College on February 29th. The GSC Tournament is set to begin on March 4th and will conclude with the Championship game on March 7th.
