The West Liberty men’s basketball team has released their schedule for the upcoming season The team will open their season on November 5th at home against Urbana University. Their Conference Schedule will begin on December 3rd when they travel to Fairmont State. The 2020 conference tournament will be held March 4-7 at the Charleston Civic Center in Charleston, West Virginia

The West Liberty University men’s Basketball team has released its schedule for the upcoming season The Hilltoppers will open the season on November 5th at West Virginia Wesleyan They will play their first Home game on November 16th against Davis & Elkins.

The Hilltoppers will play a total of 30 games this season, including 15 home games and 15 away games. They will compete in the Mountain East Conference and will face off against conference opponents such as Wheeling Jesuit, Fairmont State, and Concord.

Non-conference opponents include West Virginia Wesleyan, Davis & Elkins, Seton Hill Notre Dame (OH), Shepherd, Glenville State West Liberty will also play in the WVIAC/MEC Crossover Tournament on December 28-30.

Team statistics

In their first season under new Head Coach Alyssa Neece, the West Liberty University women’s basketball team will open the 2019-20 season at home against Seton Hill on Nov. 8. The Hilltoppers will play a total of 27 regular-season games, including 15 Mountain East Conference contests.

“Our schedule this season is extremely challenging,” Neece said. “We will be tested early and often as we play some of the top teams in our conference and region. I’m looking forward to seeing how our team responds to that competition.”

After facing Seton Hill in their opener, the Hilltoppers will play three of their next four games on the road, starting with a Nov. 12 contest at Glenville State West Liberty will also make road trips to Shepherd (Nov. 16), Concord (Nov. 23) and Charleston (Dec. 4) during that stretch before returning home to host Davis & Elkins on Dec. 7.

West Liberty Basketball history

The West Liberty Hilltoppers are a college basketball team representing West Liberty University in West Virginia The school’s team currently competes in the NCAA Division II men’s Basketball Tournament and play their home games at the West Liberty University Recreation Center

The Hilltoppers program has been relatively successful since its inception in 1935, winning one NCAA Division II National Championship and four NAIA Division I National Championships The team has also won 14 conference championships most recently in 2019. In total, the Hilltoppers have made 28 NCAA tournament appearances and 31 NAIA tournament appearances.

West Liberty University’s men’s basketball team recently released their schedule for the upcoming season The team is coached by Jim Crutchfield, who has been with the program since its inception in 2002.

The team will open their season on November 8th at home against Virginia Union University. They will then go on the road to take on West Virginia State University on November 11th. The following week they will have a three-game home stand, beginning with Urbana University on November 18th.
