The 2019-20 NBA season was cut short due to the coronavirus pandemic, but there were still some great individual and team performances. Here are some of the top stats from the regular season

--James Harden of the Houston Rockets led the league in scoring, averaging 34.3 points per game
--Damian Lillard of the Portland Trail Blazers led the league in three-pointers made with 278.
--Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks was named MVP for the second straight season. He averaged 29.5 points, 13.6 rebounds, and 5.6 assists per game
-The Los Angeles Lakers had the best record in the Western Conference with a 52-19 record.
-The Milwaukee Bucks had the best record in the NBA overall, with a 56-17 record.

2019-20 NBA playoffs Stats

The National Basketball Association (NBA) playoffs are a best-of-seven elimination tournament among the sixteen teams that qualified for the playoffs. The tournament ends with the NBA Finals in which the Eastern and Western Conference champions play each other. Eight teams from each conference qualify for the playoffs. The playoff seeding is based on each team’s record.

In the first round, the team with the better record plays the team with the worse record, and so on. There are three rounds total in the NBA playoffs The playoff seeding determine home-court advantage in each series. -Duncan Robinson has been one of the biggest surprise stories of the season for Miami, as he’s averaged 13.5 points per game while shooting an incredible 45 percent from three-point range
-The Lakers are coming into the Finals as the favorites, but don’t count out the Heat. They proved they can compete with anyone in the league by making it to the Finals as a fifth seed in the Eastern Conference

The Cleveland Cavaliers had the lightest roster in the NBA, with an average weight of just under 221 pounds. The Orlando Magic were second at 221 pounds, while the Minnesota Timberwolves (222 pounds), Phoenix Suns (222 pounds), and San Antonio Spurs (222 pounds) rounded out the top five.

Team defensive rating: The Indiana Pacers have the best defensive rating in the league at 103.1 points allowed per 100 possessions. They are followed by the Bucks (104), Miami Heat (105), Charlotte Hornets (105) and Los Angeles Clippers (105). The Hawks have the worst defensive rating in the league at 113 points allowed per 100 possessions.
