Wichita State is no slouch, though. The Shockers are coached by Gregg Marshall, who has taken them to the NCAA tournament seven times in his eleven seasons at the helm. They’re led by freshman guard Grant Sherfield, who averages 11.6 points per game

In his ninth season as IU Head Coach Tom Crean has taken the Hoosiers to new heights. After going through a tough rebuilding process, Crean has led IU to four consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances, including a Sweet Sixteen berth in 2013. This season, he was named Big Ten Coach of the Year for the second time.

###Associate Head coach Chuck Martin
Chuck Martin is in his first season as associate head coach at IU, but he’s no stranger to winning. He comes to Bloomington after six successful seasons at Michigan State where he helped lead the Spartans to five NCAA tournament appearances, including a Final Four berth in 2015.

###Assistant Coach Tim Buckley
Tim Buckley is also in his first season at IU, but he has more than two decades of coaching experience at both the collegiate and High School levels. He was most recently an assistant coach at Marquette University from 2008-2016, where he helped lead the Golden Eagles to five NCAA Tournament appearances.
