What NBA Teams are Sponsored By?

Nike

Nike currently is the official sponsor for 8 different NBA teams These include the Boston Celtics Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat Milwaukee Bucks Minnesota Timberwolves New Orleans Pelicans Oklahoma City Thunder and the Portland Trail Blazers Prior to the 2017-2018 season Nike had also been the official jersey sponsor for the Golden State Warriors but they have since switched to Rakuten.

Adidas

Adidas is an international sportswear company based in Germany. It is the largest sportswear manufacturer in Europe and the second largest in the world. Adidas has been a major sponsor of the National Basketball Association (NBA) since 2006.

Adidas sponsors several NBA Teams including the Boston Celtics Los Angeles Lakers and Miami Heat The company also has sponsorship deals with individual players, such as Lebron James and James Harden

Under Armour

Under Armour is an American sports apparel company that sponsors several NBA teams As of the 2019-2020 season they are the official sponsor of the Boston Celtics Charlotte Hornets Houston Rockets Memphis Grizzlies Minnesota Timberwolves Philadelphia 76ers, and Washington Wizards

Puma

Puma has a long history in the NBA, and they are currently the official outfitter of the league. They are also the sponsor of six different teams, including the Charlotte Hornets Dallas Mavericks Denver Nuggets Miami Heat Phoenix Suns and Portland Trail Blazers

New Balance

New Balance is an American multinational corporation based in the Boston, Massachusetts area. The company was founded on January 25, 1906, as the “New Balance Arch Support Company” and is one of the world’s major sports footwear manufacturers. In 1992, New Balance began selling shoes through retail stores throughout the United States

Anta

Founded in 1991, Anta is a Chinese sportswear company that sponsors several NBA teams including the Golden State Warriors the Houston Rockets and the Chicago Bulls Anta has a long-standing relationship with Warriors star Klay Thompson who has been endorsed by the company since he was a rookie in 2011.

Peak

Many NBA teams are sponsored by PEAK, a global Sports Performance brand. PEAK provides athletes with innovative products and technologies to help them train and perform at their best. Some of the NBA teams that PEAK sponsors include the Golden State Warriors Houston Rockets and Oklahoma City Thunder

Li-Ning

In September 2012, Chinese company Li-Ning has agreed to a three-year sponsorship deal with the NBA, making it the first Chinese company to sign an official sponsorship deal with the NBA. The deal will see Li-Ning supplying the NBA with Chinese-themed apparel and footwear for players and fans alike. In addition, Li-Ning will also be sponsoring several youth basketball events in China.

Jordan Brand

Jordan Brand is an American sports clothing and footwear company, a sub-division of Nike, Inc. The company is responsible for the creation and manufacturing of sports equipment apparel, and footwear for several professional athletes like Carmelo Anthony Russell Westbrook Blake Griffin etc. They also have their own line of products that are closely related to Michael Jordan’s basketball career

For the NBA’s 18-19 season 11 teams have jersey sponsors, with eight of those also having a patch on their shorts. The Golden State Warriors and Oklahoma City Thunder are the only teams with sleeve sponsors, while the Charlotte Hornets are the only team without any type of corporate partner.
