2020 NBA Mock Draft Round 2
With the 2020 NBA draft just around the corner, it’s time for another Mock Draft This time, we’re looking at Round 2.
There are a number of talented players who could hear their names called on draft night, but these are the ones we think will go in the second round.
Devin Vassell, SG, Florida State
A versatile wing who can shoot and defend, Vassell is one of the more well-rounded prospects in this class. He’s expected to be a solid role player at the next level and could potentially develop into a starter down the line.
Tyrese Haliburton, PG, Iowa State
Haliburton is an excellent playmaker with a High Basketball IQ. He’s not the most athletic player, but he makes up for it with his Court Vision and shooting ability. Haliburton should be a good backup point guard in the NBA.
Jalen Smith, PF/C, Maryland
Smith is an intriguing prospect because of his combination of size and shooting ability. He needs to add some strength and polish to his game, but he has potential to be a stretch big man in the mold of Roy Hibbert or Channing Frye.
Precious Achiuwa, PF/C, Memphis
Achiuwa is a physical specimen with a 7-foot-2 wingspan. He’s raw offensively, but he has the tools to be an elite defender at the next level. Achiuwa has a chance to be a defensive anchor for whatever team drafted him.

2022 NBA Mock Draft Round 2
We continue our look at the NBA Draft with the second round. These six picks will help shape the future of their respective franchises and we’ll continue to see how they look as their careers unfold.
With the 36th pick in the 2022 NBA draft the Charlotte Hornets select… Asaph Moyal out of Maccabi Tel Aviv! The 19-year-old wing is a physical specimen who can really shoot it from deep. He has potential to be a very good defender and his 7’1″ wingspan will allow him to guard multiple positions. This is a good pick for the Hornets as they continue to add young talent to their roster.
With the 37th pick in the 2022 NBA draft the Detroit Pistons select… EJ Montgomery out of Kentucky! The 6’10” Power Forward was once considered a lottery prospect but his stock has fallen a bit over the past year. He’s a very good rebounder and shot blocker but he needs to develop his offensive game if he wants to be a starter in this league. The Pistons are hoping he can reach his potential and become a key piece on their team.
With the 38th pick in the 2022 NBA Draft the Orlando Magic select… Kay Felder out of Oakland! The 5’9″ point guard is one of the most electrifying players in this Draft Class He’s an elite scorer and playmaker who can make something happen anytime he has the ball in his hands. Felder is undersized and will need to prove that he can defend at the NBA level but there’s no doubt that he has star potential.
With the 39th pick in 2022 NBA Draft Sacramento Kings select… Kobi Simmons out of Arizona! The 6’5″ point guard is an excellent athlete with great size for his position. He’s still raw offensively but he has all of the tools to become a very good player in this league. Simmons will need some time to develop but he has huge upside and should be a solid rotational player for years to come. With their second round pick, it looks like Sacramento is taking another chance on a raw but talented prospect.
